QuiltCon 2018

This mini quilt was taken to Pasadena, California to swap with a quilt friend. At the time I was still primarily making nine patch quilt blocks the graduation of color and design and exploring text background fabric which was all the rage and a staple for many fabric lines.

In an ironic twist, I made a second full size quilt loosely inspired by this design and absolutely hated it. After years of trying to improve what I felt was a bad design I left it in a closet at my daughters house. Some time later my daughter cut the quilt and ‘gifted’ me and herself with matching quilt skirts to wear at quilt events.

This quilt measures 20 inches by 20 inches. -Circa 2018
