QuiltCon 2020

Sponsored by the Modern Quilt Guild, guild members we invited to make a mini quilt (no larger than 24 inches by 24 inches) to swap with another MQG member in Austin, Texas.

In this original design I juxta positioned straight lines to exude strength, stability and precision with the curved lines to introduce fluidity, grace and a sense of organic movement.

The repeating circular elements was made by piecing and needle turn appliqueing the eighteen circles. I free motion machine quilted project on my domestic machine.
