Having completed a quilt project involving 2 1/2 inch red squares, my quiltly friend gave me the remainder of the cut blocks she did not use and encouraged me to make something fun. I determined that if I made an Irish Chain quilt, I could use all the gifted fabric and no additional red fabric would need to be purchased. Black and grey fabrics were added to expand the color pallet and set against a white background. The border and binding adds boundary to the design while continuing the chain motif to the very edges of the quilt.
This quilt measures 60 inches by 60 inches. -Circa 2017
