The trend in garden themed quilts continued with this 2021 Block of the Month presented by American Quilting. This row quilt was made by mostly utilizing the Stitch and Flip technique for the piecing. Five challenging schoolhouse blocks traditionally made in brick red fabric are here designed in coral, lime, rose, blue and pink. I added ‘doors’ to the beehives and black hand embroidery to the bees, flowers and butterflies.

This quilt measures 62 inches by 80 inches.
