Miss Sunbonnet

These nine hand embroidered quilt blocks were part of a larger lot of handwork found at a second hand shoppe in Grants Pass, Oregon. The proprietor allowed me to select the 5 yellow and 4 purple blocks that would anchor this design.

I used yellow corners and a tiny frame around each block and oversized sashing to maximize their prominence in this design.

This quilt measures 48 inches by 48 inches.
